For the very first time, Media City Bergen will have its own pavilion at the upcoming IBC show in Amsterdam with key companies in The Norwegian Media Cluster. Deputy Mayor, City of Bergen, Julie Andersland, will conduct the official opening on Friday Sep 14.

The International Broadcasting Convention, (IBC), is Europe’s largest media, entertainment and technology show, held annually in September at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam. It attracts over 55.000 attendees and 1700 exhibitors from 170+ countries. Several of the media cluster companies already have their strong presence and impressive booths here every year.

For the first time NCE Media are also setting up our very own stand, bringing with us all the key companies in the cluster, both as co-exhibitors on the stand, and as partners. Finally this will also represent an opportunity for the smaller cluster companies, normally not able to set up their own booth at IBC, to showcase their solutions.

A delegation from the City of Bergen, including the Deputy Mayor of Bergen, Julie Andersland, and representatives from Innovation Norway, will join the official opening, Friday September 14 at 12.00, at IBC, Amsterdam. Here, you will meet the companies

The stand, «Media City Bergen Village», is nearly 160 square meters situated in hall 8, conveniently located close to the IBC Future Zone. The MCB Village will host a variety of activities, product demonstrations and quick presentations, and of course social events every afternoon. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

After the official opening, the delegation will be taken on a study tour to visit the cluster companies at their stands, and to learn how these companies are working at IBC.

PS: The study tour is open for all members and partners of the cluster. Read more about it here.
