AI+ is a new international conference with focus on the topic “applied artificial intelligence”. The digital conference was held for the first time on 15-17 September 2020 and the second edition is set to 19-20 May 2021. The purpose of AI+ is to offer Norwegian as well as international environments an arena for competence sharing and interaction within the field of artificial intelligence, which will provide a solid foundation for succeeding with computer-driven economy and innovation.
An overall goal is to create societal and business development. The AI+ consortium naturally wishes to contribute to the Norwegian government reaching its digitalization goals, as stated in both the digitalization strategy for the public sector and in the national strategy for artificial intelligence. Applied artificial intelligence and sustainability will be the main focus areas, in addition to creating an interactional arena between problem keepers and problem solvers. AI+ is intended as a yearly conference and is expected to grow to become a natural arena for industries where applied artificial intelligence can be integrated with business purposes, and for networking and innovation.
