A number, three accidents and a looming catastrophe

At first glance, 4,294,967,295 seems like a pretty large, yet innocent number.  Easy mistake to make.  Anders talks about the trouble this figure has created, and why it will cause the end of the world in 2038.

Anders Norås is Chief Technology Officer at Itera. Originally educated in arts and design, the Internet boom of the late nineties made a programmer out of him and he has spent the last twenty years writing code for a living. He has presented at conferences worldwide on various topics throughout the years. Anders has given more than 100 talks at conferences, meetups around the world.
