Time: 17:00 - 19:00
Although most companies can point to the occasional success, very few companies can demonstrate the ability to create new growth through innovation on a continuous and predictable manner.
One of the main reasons for this is that innovation yet is to be seen as a systematic discipline. While companies have spent the past century focusing on methods and processes for maximizing production output, innovation has more or less been left over to chance. Companies have succeeded because of the heroic effort from a few individuals – not because they have leveraged the strengths and assets present in the organisation.
What most companies lack is an innovation ecosystem. Companies must consciously build build the necessary structures, processes and governance systems that encourage innovation and ensure that all initiatives support the company's overall strategic direction.
At this event, you will be introduced to the elements that make up a corporate innovation ecosystem. We will present findings from national surveys on how other Norwegian companies work with innovation and a practical example of how DNB work with implementing a innovation ecosystem throughout their organisation.
This talk will be given in English.
This event is part of the Media City Bergen Future Week on June 11-14.
