Media City Bergen is a landmark building in Bergen, and a world-class hub for innovation and science for the media industry and the University of Bergen. It is also the headquarter of the Norwegian Media Cluster, comprising more than a hundred members. The vision is to be a leading international environment for innovation and knowledge in media and media technology.

Director of Communications at Entra, Tom Bratlie, is looking forward to the official opening Wednesday.

– This is one of Entra's most spectacular projects ever. We are of course proud of what we have achieved in terms of real estate and city development, but Media City Bergen is mostly about what we create for our tenants and related businesses. It is extremely inspiring to see how the vision is being brought to life in Media City Bergen. Now we are looking forward to host customers, an impressing line-up of leaders from the Norwegian media industry, politicians and partners for the grand opening, Bratlie says.

Thor Gjermund Eriksen (Director-General of NRK) and Olav Sandnes (CEO and editor-in-chief of TV 2) will also be present, along with other guests from the media cluster.
