Media City Bergen will host distinguished guests tomorrow, Wednesday. As part of the first official Norway visit from Slovakia, Media City Bergen is on the agenda. The delegation will stop by the MCB Media Lab and the TV 2 studios.
During the visit, representatives from the University of Bergen and the Media Cluster will highlight activities of research, education, collaboration and innovation in the cluster.
H.E. The President and H.R.H. the Crown Prince will also meet two of the cluster member companies, Highsoft and Motitech.
The Norwegian Media Cluster is a unique collaboration of academia, a world-leading and innovative technology industry, and national broadcasters and regional news. The Cluster has more than 100 members, and has its main hub inside the Media City Bergen campus in the Bergen City Centre.
The University of Bergen is the academic partner of the Cluster. In total, 240 students receive their education through programs in Journalism, Film and Television Production, and Media and Interaction Design. In these programs, there is an explicit focus on technology and innovation.
