On March 7th, Sports Video Group Europe and NCE Media once again hosted the SVG Nordic Summit 2019 in Media City Bergen. Building on the inaugural success from last year, we set out to present an exciting and user-focused content to delegates from all the major broadcasters in the Nordic region. The program focused on real-world case presentations and discussions with experts from around Europe who joined contributors from TV 2 Norway, Swedish Television, TV 2 Denmark, Danish Radio, and NRK.
For the first time, the conference was held inside the brand new Atlantis auditorium in Media City Bergen, where the audiences were able to receive AR and Virtual Set presentations that leveraged the latest in AV and television technology.
Opening Remarks, assisted with AR: Anne Jacobsen, CEO, Media City Bergen
In addition to the conference sessions, delegates and sponsors joined two networking receptions in the MCB Media Lab to connect with industry peers and partners while enjoying local beverages and cuisine.
“The SVG Nordic Summit is a fantastic opportunity for media professionals in the region to gather, connect and learn from each other in a way that has not been possible in the past,” said Anne Jacobsen, CEO of NCE Media.
“The Norwegian Media Cluster, which is headquartered here in Media City Bergen works with the Nordic and global media industry to bring together the best ideas and minds, shaping them into projects to create the media business of the future. We are grateful for the partnership with Sports Video Group who worked closely with our team to build up and organize the 2019 Nordic Summit".
