120 editors from all over the country visited Bergen this week for their annual conference. Included in this event was a tour of Media City Bergen, and a visit to the media lab.

– Media City Bergen and NCE Media are truly exciting projects that demonstrates the opportunities that exist when the media industry dares to rethink cooperation, and how to make each other better, said Arne Jensen, Secretary General of The Association of Norwegian Editors (Norsk Redaktørforening)

In MCB Media Lab the editors met with several of the cluster companies, including Vimond, Vizrt, Sixty, TV 2, Bergens Tidende and TV Bra, and had a look at some of the solutions and products that comes out of the media cluster collaboration.

– This visit, and the presentations we were given here, showed us what a forward leaning and innovative environment this is. We all have something to learn here, Arne Jensen concluded.

The Association of Norwegian Editors organizes 700 members within newspapers, radio/television, periodical press, trade press and news agencies.
